“Yolo!” Alfred answered happily, causing you to involuntarily break into a grin.  What a way to answer the phone.
“Hey Al.  You wanna go to the library and work on that Revolutionary War project today?” You asked, though even if his answer was a no, you’d still make him work on it.
“Sure! When’s it due?”
“Tomorrow.” You answered casually.
“WHAT?!” He yelled causing you to jump and drop the phone. You quickly picked it up and huffed angrily.
“Don’t scream so loud, I nearly broke my phone, stupid!” You yelled back and sighed.  “Anyways, you’re gonna have to pick me up.  I’m still not allowed to drive my car yet, and mom’s out again.” Alfred snorted in laughter on the other end.
“Oh right, I heard you ‘accidentally’ drove (bitchy name)’s car into the creek at school yesterday.  How exactly do you accidentally walk into a hot pink car that’s not yours, hotwire it, and then drive it into a creek after wrecking the front by crashing it into a tree?  There’s obviously something I’m missing here.” He teased, causing you to laugh.
“I was tired.  Plus that piece of barbie shit is a car as much as a toilet brush is a magic wand.” You said defensively earning another bark of laughter from Alfred.  “Besides she was getting on my nerves.” You grumbled, as you stared up at the ceiling remembering the fun you had with that car.
“(bitchy name)’s always on your nerves _______.” Al corrected and you smiled.
“More than usual lately.  She keeps talking to you and I hear enough of that valley girl voice during calculus.  It just annoys me when she flirts with people out of her league.”
“Mm.” Alfred said lazily.  “Why, you jealous?” You could hear his smirk through the phone, and you blushed.
“N-no way, idiot! Why would I be jealous?! And did you even leave the house yet?” You asked, staring at you clock.
“Yup, I’m right outside your window.” Your eyes widened and you ran to your window and looked across the street.  Lo and behold, there was Alfred and his slick black convertible.  He leaned on the passenger door with the phone to his ear and his other hand pushing up his rectangular glasses.  Al looked up at your window and smiled giving to a small wave.
“H-how did you get here so fast? You live at least fifteen minutes away.” You asked in awe.
“I drove.  Now hurry up.” He answered.  You muttered ‘smartass’ into the phone before hanging up and getting ready.
You honestly only took five minutes to get ready, but Alfred was an extremely impatient person.  Well maybe not five minutes, more like thirty, but you had no clothes.  Well yes you did, but-just nevermind.  Anyways after a series of loud honks from the mustang you sprinted out your door and hopped into the passenger seat.
“Geez, why do girls always take so long?” Alfred muttered as he twisted the key, causing the engine to roar. You smirked, leaned in extremely close to his ear.
"Do you really want to know?" You whispered suggestively and quickly blew hard in his ear. As a result, Alfred's foot slammed down on the gas pedal, causing the car to jerk forward all of a sudden. You burst out laughing, while a deep red blush covered Al's face and he glared at you.
"You're so going to pay for that later." He grumbled, a cute pout his face.
"Bite me." You countered.
"Gladly." He muttered back and slammed hard on the gas pedal before you respond.

Time Skip (at ze library)...

You sat at a desk in the corner of the reference section, where no one would go because it was filled with most boring books. Alfred had gone to ask the librarian where he could find stuff on the Battle of Lexington. He'd been gone for a while, and you started to wonder if the blonde had wandered off somewhere else. You waited for a few more minutes before he came sprinting down behind the bookshelves, yelling:
"_______!" He slammed a colorful book on the table, which was followed by a series of angry SHHHHHs.  You mouthed a 'sorry' and glared back at your best friend.
"Idiot, you're gonna get us kicked out." You hissed, but his gleeful self didn't even give a gesture of understanding.
"But _______, look!" He said (at least in a whisper this time) as he pointed to the colorful book that he'd recently dropped on the table. You read the title: 'Where's Waldo?' And then you looked back up at Alfred curiously.
"It's a children's book." You stated the obvious and he gave you a look.
"I noticed smart one, but don't you remember us doing these all the time when we were little?" How could you not? It was one of the best times of your life.
"Well yeah, but it was impossible. And that was a really long time ago. What happened to finishing your project?" You crossed your arms and sat back in the uncomfortable wooden chair.  Alfred sat in the chair next to you, and gave you the puppy dog face.
“If you help me finish this book, I promise to work on my project.” His face was dangerously close to yours and you looked away so he couldn’t see the blush that was probably creeping on your face.
“Fine, it’s not like it’s my grade anyways.” You scoffed and watched as Al opened the book to the first page.  The scene was some sort of yard sale thing with lots of people and red socks.  You stared at the picture intently, secretly wanting to finally find Waldo as well.  You looked over at Alfred, his blue eyes widened like a little child about to open his Christmas present.  You smiled to yourself and looked back at the book, scooching a little closer, so you could see better.  In about five minutes, your (e/c) eyes landed in a strange looking fellow in a striped shirt and jeans.  Waldo.  You managed to slam your hand down at the exact same time as Alfred and yell:
“I found him!” SHHH.  You both ignored the angry hushes and laughed quietly at each other.  Next round was more like a competition.  The scene was with another lot of people, on a beach this time.  Alfred and you were both hunched down over the book, so concentrated on finding the striped man with round glasses.  You could hear each other’s soft breathing, and you’d smile to yourself, as you thought about the sexy blonde beside you.
“I found him!” Alfred whispered excitedly pointing at a little person in the background.  You squinted, and smiled in relief.
“Al, that’s a girl.  Wilma, I think.” You said smugly.  Your best friend looked up and glared at you quickly before looking back down and trying again.  But it was too late.
“He’s right there.” You whispered, pointing to the real Waldo.  Alfred looked closely at where you were pointing, scooting even closer to you, so that your arms were touching.  It gave you goosebumps when he looked up and smiled warmly at you.
“So he is.” He said quietly, and turned the page.  You cleared your throat awkwardly and got back into game mode.  Alfred won that round, and the next, but you won the two after his.  And then you got to the ‘World of Waldo’s”, the final and hardest round of the entire book.  You two were tied, since you gave him the first round.  You were just about as determined as he was, completely absorbed into kicking your crush’s ass.
“Alright, may the best Waldo Seeker win!” Alfred whispered, holding out his hand for you to shake.  You gave it a quick jolt and quickly flashed your eyes back to the children’s book in front of you.  Five minutes had passed, then ten, then fifteen, and then thirty.  You scanned the book for the eighteenth time warily until your eyes spotted him.  Waldo! The real one, you checked all the features again and again and again.  It was definitely him! Your eyes lit up happily, and our best friend looked up at you, sensing the change.  Just as you were about to yell out that you’d one, Alfred grabbed your face in his hands and kissed you hard on the mouth.  Your eyes widened, and then closed as you found yourself in a state of absolute bliss.  Then he quickly pulled away and pointed at the Waldo you were staring at.
“I found the sneaky bastard.  I totally just won!” He yelled, throwing his hands up in the air, and you whined in protest.
“That was so not fair, you asshole! You cheated!” He chuckled and closed the book, before lifting your chin to give you a gently brush on the lips.  You groaned unhappily.
“Tease.” Alfred kissed you gently on the forehead.
“Payback for what you did to me in the car, babe.” He whispered huskily, before you practically through yourself on his lap and kissed him forcefully.  Alfred gladly accepted, holding you tight as your lips moved in sync.
“Really you two? In a library?” Someone asked.  Both of you turned to glare at them.
“SHHHH.”
This was a really random idea because I saw a "Where's Waldo" book in a library and I was like "why not, Independence Day I soon, I should write something for Alfred" It's an early birthday present. Anyways I have to go like right now, so I'm doing this is a hurry.

Don't own hetalia, or you, or the pic
